To launch Heinz Pickle Ketchup, we turned unwanted burger pickles into currency. A custom vending machine—The Pickle Switch—accepted discarded pickles as payment for a free bottle of the new sauce. This playful twist on pickle love (or hate) sparked viral buzz, driving 500M+ impressions, 1M+ social interactions, and a sellout launch, proving pickles can be more than just burger toppings.
