Thank Different.

This project came to mind after we saw large groups of people criticizing Dutch medical staff in the media. We were surprised to learn that these heroes didn’t receive the praise they all deserved.

By further investigating we discovered that our views of what makes someone important or very important might be distorted and as a result we fall short to those who actually make a difference for others. We want to raise a valid question: When does someone actually become an important figure? and how do we define important?

We knew that the iconic Apple spot would serve as a vehicle for the idea, the only thing we needed to do was to launch a website and create social-media content in the hopes it would have a voice. And it did, through the support of the right influential people and their platforms we reached impressive results with a simple post and posters.

“Here's to the ordinary ones. The maintainers. The ones who do the dirty work and fix things.
The teachers and cleaners, the waste collectors and nurses. Love this variation on the famous
Apple 'Think Different' commercial.”
